Terms of Disappearance

By submitting a request to the Institute of How to Disappear (IHD), the applicant acknowledges and agrees to the following terms governing participation in the intake and processing system.

Participation in the Institute constitutes a voluntary request for withdrawal from forms of public, social, and institutional visibility. The scope and outcome of such withdrawal are determined solely by internal processes and are not guaranteed.

The applicant understands that disappearance, as defined by the Institute, may involve partial, conditional, or symbolic forms of removal rather than total erasure. Outcomes may vary in degree, duration, and reversibility.

Upon submission, the applicant consents to the transformation of their identity into a case-based record. From this point forward, all interactions with the Institute are mediated through assigned identifiers rather than personal attributes.

Requests, once submitted, enter an irreversible processing sequence. While certain aspects of a request may remain incomplete or unresolved, the act of submission itself cannot be withdrawn in full.

The Institute reserves the right to define, interpret, and implement all procedures related to disappearance without external consultation.
